Oviedo: what to see and how to arrive
The apartments are on Calle Manuel Pedregal, right in the centre of Oviedo, a short walk from the train and bus stations and most of the city's main sights.
How to arrive
The train station (Renfe/AVE) is about 200 metres on foot from the apartment.
The bus station is about a 5-minute walk away.
Asturias Airport is 41 km away. An ALSA bus runs to Oviedo station (about 45 minutes), and a taxi takes around 35-45 minutes.
The building doesn't have its own parking. There are public car parks in the centre and next to the train station. Much of central Oviedo is pedestrianised.

San Salvador Cathedral
About a 10-minute walk, in the heart of the old town.
Old town and Plaza del Fontán
With its traditional market, a short walk from the apartment.
Campo de San Francisco park
750 metres away.
Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias
900 metres away.
La Foncalada
A pre-Romanesque monumental fountain, 450 metres away.
Naranco pre-Romanesque monuments
Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo, on the outskirts of the city.
Where to eat
- Calle Gascona, known as the cider boulevard, brings together many of the city's cider houses and is less than a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
- In the cider houses, it's common to share a cachopo, alongside cider poured the traditional Asturian way.
- El Fontán market, in the old town, is a good stop for local produce and a more traditional dining atmosphere.

A coastal city with an urban beach, about 30 minutes away by car or train.
