Where to stay in Oviedo
If you plan to get around on foot, stay in the centre: between the train station, Calle Uría and the old town you can walk to almost everything visitors see in Oviedo. Apartamentos Pedregal is in that area, 3 minutes from the station and 14 from the cathedral.

The station and Calle Uría
This is where you arrive: the train and bus stations are here, and Calle Uría, Oviedo's main shopping street, leads to the Campo de San Francisco park and the historic centre. It is the best choice if you arrive by train or bus and want to drop your bags without a taxi.

The old town
Around San Salvador Cathedral, Plaza del Fontán and Calle Gascona, the cider boulevard. It is the most monumental area and the liveliest for cider houses. From Pedregal it is a ten to fifteen-minute walk.
Campo de San Francisco
Oviedo's big central park, between Calle Uría and the old town, an eleven-minute walk from the apartment. It is a natural stop on any stroll around the city.
What about outside the centre?
If you travel by car and would rather not rely on public car parks, a more outlying area may suit you. For a trip on foot, the centre saves you journeys: from Pedregal, Calle Uría, the Campoamor Theatre and the old town are all less than a quarter of an hour's walk.

- Train: the station is a 3-minute walk from the apartment.
- Plane: Asturias Airport is 41 km away, with an ALSA bus to Oviedo bus station (about 45 minutes).
- Car: much of the centre is pedestrianised and our building has no parking of its own; there are public car parks next to the train station.
- Naranco pre-Romanesque monuments (Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo): on the outskirts, on the slopes of Mount Naranco.
